This Privacy Policy explains how Weaponcrates ("Weaponcrates", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores and shares your personal data when you use the Weaponcrates mobile app and website (together, the "Service"). Weaponcrates is a marketplace where airsoft players buy and sell airsoft replicas and related gear.

1. Who we are

2. Data we collect

We collect only what we need to run the marketplace:

• Account information — your email address, display name, country and city, and an optional avatar.
• Listings you create — titles, descriptions, categories, condition, price, location and photos you upload.
• Messages — the content of messages you exchange with other users about listings.
• Transactions — orders you place or receive, including amounts and status. Card payments for physical goods are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
• Safety data — reports you submit, users you block, and records needed to enforce our Terms.
• Technical data — basic device and log information needed to operate and secure the Service.

3. How we use your data

• To create and manage your account and show your listings to other users in your country.
• To enable messaging, orders and the buying and selling of airsoft gear.
• To keep the marketplace safe — filtering content, reviewing reports, and removing prohibited listings or users.
• To provide support and respond to your requests.
• To comply with our legal obligations.

4. Legal bases

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the Service), to pursue our legitimate interests (keeping the marketplace safe and functional), to comply with legal obligations, and, where required, with your consent.

5. Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only:

• With other users, to the extent you choose to make it public — your display name, listings, store details and messages you send.
• With service providers who process data on our behalf, including Supabase (database, authentication and file storage, hosted in the EU) and our payment processor.
• Where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of Weaponcrates and its users.

6. Where your data is stored

Your data is stored on managed infrastructure provided by Supabase in the European Union (eu-central-1). Uploaded photos are stored in secured object storage. We apply access controls so that you can only modify your own account, listings and messages.

7. Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently remove your profile and listings. We may retain limited records where necessary to comply with legal obligations or to resolve disputes and enforce our Terms.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Account → Delete account), which permanently removes your profile and listings. To exercise any other right, email [email protected].

9. Children

Weaponcrates is intended for users aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, row-level access controls and authenticated access — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the date above. Significant changes will be communicated within the Service.
